Zeerpaint – Une année pour Anzère

J’ai découvert Anzère à l’âge de cinq ans – et en 2025, Anzère et moi fêterons nos 30 ans d’histoire commune. Depuis trois décennies, ce lieu est devenu pour moi un point d’ancrage, de retour, de réflexion et de développement artistique.

Comme l’a écrit Rainer Maria Rilke à une amie, j’ai commis « l’erreur » d’être assez imprudente pour venir dans le Valais. Il a décrit comment la beauté de cette région l’a touché au point de ne plus vouloir la quitter – et je comprends parfaitement ce qu’il a ressenti. Quiconque s’autorise à découvrir le Valais risque de vouloir y revenir encore et encore. C’est ce qui m’est arrivé.

C’est à Anzère que j’ai découvert la peinture. Par la suite, j’ai étudié les beaux-arts et l’histoire de l’art, et j’ai exposé mes œuvres en Suisse et à l’étranger. En 2024, j’ai eu la chance de présenter ma première grande exposition personnelle dans un centre d’art – une expérience qui m’a montré à quel point il est précieux de penser en projets, de créer des séries cohérentes, et de sortir de sa zone de confort.

Avec Zeerpaint, je me consacre pendant une année entière (peut-être plus) à une recherche artistique centrée sur Anzère. Je souhaite explorer différentes techniques – y compris celles avec lesquelles je ne me sens pas encore familière. En tant qu’artiste orientée principalement vers l’abstraction, je vais me confronter à des formes plus figuratives, expérimenter de nouveaux matériaux et remettre en question ma méthode de travail.

Le projet comprendra des formats variés : petites œuvres sur toile et sur papier, linogravures, photographies peintes, ainsi que de grandes peintures sur toile. Les sujets iront du paysage à la lumière, du portrait à des états émotionnels. Chaque série achevée sera publiée sous forme de drop, et les œuvres seront mises en vente. Un autre aspect essentiel du projet est le dialogue – non seulement avec le lieu, mais aussi avec celles et ceux qui connaissent Anzère. Zeerpaint – ein Jahr für Anzère

Seit ich fünf Jahre alt bin, komme ich regelmäßig nach Anzère – 2025 feiern der Ort und ich unser 30-jähriges Jubiläum. In diesen drei Jahrzehnten ist Anzère für mich zu einem konstanten Bezugspunkt geworden, der mich persönlich und künstlerisch geprägt hat.

Ich habe – wie Rainer Maria Rilke es einst beschrieb – den „Fehler“ begangen, unvorsichtig genug zu sein, ins Wallis zu reisen. Rilke schrieb einer Freundin, dass ihn die Schönheit der Region nicht mehr loslasse – mir ist es ähnlich ergangen. Wer sich auf das Wallis einlässt, läuft Gefahr, immer wieder zurückkommen zu müssen. Und genau das ist mir passiert.

In Anzère habe ich zur Malerei gefunden. Ich habe anschließend Malerei und Kunstgeschichte studiert und meine Arbeiten im In- und Ausland ausgestellt. 2024 fand meine erste institutionelle Einzelausstellung in einem Kunstverein statt – ein Projekt, das mir deutlich gemacht hat, wie wichtig es ist, in Werkreihen zu denken, konzentriert zu arbeiten und sich auch künstlerisch weiterzuentwickeln.

Mit Zeerpaint möchte ich mich nun ein Jahr lang (vielleicht auch länger) ganz Anzère widmen. Ich werde verschiedene Techniken erproben – bewusst auch solche, in denen ich mich nicht „zuhause“ fühle. Als ursprünglich abstrakt arbeitende Malerin werde ich mich verstärkt mit Gegenständlichkeit beschäftigen, neue Wege ausprobieren und gewohnte Arbeitsweisen hinterfragen.

Geplant sind kleine Formate auf Leinwand und Papier, Linoldrucke, übermalte Fotografien und größere Leinwandarbeiten. Die Motive bewegen sich zwischen Landschaft, Lichtsituation, Portrait und Emotion. Jedes abgeschlossene Kapitel wird als Drop veröffentlicht – die Werke können käuflich erworben werden. Gerne würde ich die Arbeiten auch ausstellen. Wer eine Idee oder eine Möglichkeit zur Realisierung hat, darf sich gerne per Mail melden.

Ein weiterer Aspekt des Projekts ist der Austausch mit anderen Blicken auf Anzère. Wer alte oder neue Fotos hat – ein Blick aus dem Fenster, ein Lieblingsort, eine Urlaubserinnerung – und diese mit mir teilen möchte, ist herzlich eingeladen, sie mir per E-Mail zu senden. Wichtig ist, dass das Einverständnis eventuell abgebildeter Personen vorab eingeholt wird. Wenn ich ein Bild als Vorlage verwende, kontaktiere ich euch vor Veröffentlichung. Es besteht dann ein Vorkaufsrecht auf das daraus entstandene Werk.

Zeerpaint – A Year for Anzère

I first visited Anzère when I was five years old – and in 2025, the village and I will celebrate our 30-year connection. Over the past three decades, Anzère has become a place of return, reflection, and artistic growth.

Like Rainer Maria Rilke once wrote to a friend, I made the "mistake" of being careless enough to travel to the Valais. He described how the region captivated him and made him want to stay – and I know exactly what he meant. Anyone who opens themselves up to this place may find themselves compelled to return again and again. That’s what happened to me.

In Anzère, I discovered painting. I went on to study fine arts and art history and have since exhibited my work in various locations in Switzerland and abroad. In 2024, I held my first major solo exhibition at an art association – an experience that showed me how important it is to think in terms of projects, to develop cohesive bodies of work, and to push oneself beyond the familiar.

With Zeerpaint, I’m dedicating an entire year (possibly longer) to artistic exploration focused on Anzère. I’ll be working with a wide range of techniques – especially those that push me out of my comfort zone. As an artist primarily rooted in abstraction, I plan to explore more figurative approaches, experiment with new materials, and challenge my usual process.

The project will include small-format works on canvas and paper, linocuts, painted-over photographs, and large-scale paintings. Themes will range from landscapes and light studies to portraits and emotional states. Each completed series will be released in the form of a drop, and the works will be available for purchase.
